Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Prime Solar Energy (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website www.primesolarenergy.com.au and our services. By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Our services are available to individuals and businesses across the ACT. You must be 18 years or older to sign up for our solar plans or purchase our systems.
All quotes provided are valid for 30 days. Prices may change without notice if the quotation expires or if ACT-specific government incentives or rebates are adjusted.
ACT residents may be eligible for rebates or incentives under the ACT Sustainable Household Scheme or other programs. Approval of these incentives is subject to government regulations. Prime Solar Energy is not liable if such rebates are declined or amended.
A 10% deposit is required upon acceptance of the quote. The balance must be paid in full upon installation unless alternative payment terms have been agreed upon in writing.
Installation dates are subject to ACT weather conditions, stock availability, and any ACT-specific regulations or permits. We’ll keep you updated in case of any delays.
Solar energy output can vary based on conditions specific to the ACT, such as weather, shading, or system usage. While we ensure optimal performance, specific energy production levels cannot be guaranteed.
Ownership of the solar system remains with Prime Solar Energy until full payment is received. Non-payment may result in the removal of the system in accordance with ACT regulations.
Our solar panels come with a manufacturer’s warranty of up to 25 years. Installation workmanship is covered for 5 years. Warranty claims will follow the terms set by the manufacturer and ACT consumer protection laws.
Regular maintenance is essential for system performance and longevity. Customers in the ACT are responsible for system upkeep unless otherwise stated in the agreement.
Prime Solar Energy is not liable for damages caused by ACT-specific factors such as extreme weather, power outages, or misuse of the system.
Cancellations made within 7 days of placing an order are eligible for a refund minus any costs incurred. For cancellations beyond this period, refunds are subject to review under ACT laws.
Customers must ensure that their roof meets ACT safety and building standards for solar installation. Additional work needed to comply with ACT requirements will be quoted separately.
Our solar systems meet all ACT energy and environmental standards. Customers must also adhere to ACT government and council regulations when installing solar panels.
rime Solar Energy complies with ACT privacy laws. Any personal data collected is used strictly for service delivery and will not be shared without your consent.
For disputes, we’re committed to resolving matters amicably. If we can’t agree, disputes may be referred to ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal (ACAT) or another ACT mediation service.
